Now you know how much you can accomplish by eating a plant-based meal instead of one based on animal products. Here
you can see how much water, land, and greenhouse gas emissions you can
save by eating different numbers of plant based meals per week
and then set a target you think you can acheive.
At
breakfast you might have a bagel with jelly, oatmeal, or maybe try soy
milk on your cereal instead of cow milk. At lunch, just in case you get
tired of PB&Js, you can grab a bean burrito or get falafel. At
dinner try the pasta with marinara sauce or the lentil soup; order the
tofu if you're going out for Chinese food. Please check out our Resources page for more ideas.
Since
each lunch, dinner, and breakfast you eat is different, we're using the
American per-meal averages. Please see our PB&J Methodology page for more on how we came up with the numbers we're using here.
